• If you ever try to get a local hub started, be sure to include these statistics.  By seeing how popular the game is becoming, schools won't need to worry about insufficient participation.

• Monitoring the Regional winners makes it easier to size up competition.

• Amaze your friends by reciting the 1998 BEST Field Event Winners.

• If you notice a nearby team has been doing well in the higher-level competitions, why not ask them to mentor you?  Most schools are ecstatic to offer advice to others.

History of BEST Robotics, Inc.

• Established by Texas Instruments Engineers in 1993, the competition originally included a handful of local teams in the Dallas area..  The organization has been steadily growing ever since.  In 2003 the South BEST Regional competition was added in Alabama and in 2005 Frontier Trails BEST held it's first game in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
